How long does a makeup application take?
I normally take 45 minutes to complete a makeup application but on a bride I generally take my time I generally leave 1 hour for the bride.
Do you travel to location?
Yes I travel to location normally charging an AA travel rate.
Do you do lashes?
Yes I supply strip or individual lashes.
Do you travel to different countries to do makeup?
Yes I go wherever I am required to go to do makeup. I have travelled as far as Zanzibar to do makeup. Flight tickets, accommodation etc. will then be required to be added.
How many makeup applications can you complete in a day?
It all depends on the event, if it’s for a wedding I have completed as many as 10 makeup applications in a day but more comfortable at completing 6 on a day.
Is makeup done first and then hair?
I prefer doing makeup after hair especially if the hairstylist is using a hairdryer, as heat has an effect on makeup.
Do you do hair?
No, I am a qualified professional makeup artist but looking at hopefully adding this to my resume in the new year.
Do you provide a schedule for the day of a wedding?
Yes, I generally provide a schedule for the day you will then allocate a timeslot for each person.
Do you do special effects?
Yes I do but my rate will differ depending on what look is required and how many hours it will take to complete.
What make up brands do you use?
At the moment the products that I have in my kit are as follows?
Ben Nye, Saucebox, MAC, Kryolan, Babor, Inglot, Mehron to name but a few.
Am I required to pay a booking fee?
Yes the booking fee and the booking form is required in order to secure the trial date and wedding date.
When must I pay the outstanding amount?
I require the final outstanding amount 1 week before the wedding or event.
Do I get a touch-up kit?
I generally provide a touch-up kit per person, this will generally contain a wedge, powderpuff, earbuds, a little bit of decanted lipstick if required.
